As Hurricane Isaias heads towards the northern Gulf Coast now is the time to prepare! Bottled water is highly recommended for drinking and filling your tub for other water needs in the event the power goes out during the storm, the water also may go out. We have generators on standby for all of our systems and once it is safe for our crews to be out on the road we will be assessing any damages and ensuring any water systems that lost power are up and running as quickly as possible. Those of you who went through Hurricane Michael may remember that we had running water to everyone within 24 hours, well before power was restored. We ask for your patience as the safety of our staff and yours is paramount.
If you lose water pressure please note that once water is restored you will be on a Precautionary Boil Water Notice, all water used for consumption should be brought to a rolling boil, if power is out you may also add 1/8th (about 8 drops) of unscented household bleach per gallon of water, mix well and wait 30 minutes before consuming. Precautionary Boil Water Notices will be issued via Dial My Calls as well as here on this site.
We thank you for your cooperation and hope that all stay safe!
