All bacteriological clearance samples have been determined to be satisfactory and it is no longer necessary to boil water in the Collier/Lee Cypress water system.

Due to an issue at the water treatment plant the system is currently off line and a Precautionary Boil Water Notice has been issued. Once repairs are made and water is restored you will need to boil your water for consumption until bacteriological samples are determined to be satisfactory at which time a rescission will be issued.

Residents of the Lee Cypress Water System in Copeland FL are no longer under a Precautionary Boil Water Notice. Bacteriological Samples have come back satisfactory and it is no longer necessary to boil water for consumption.

The Precautionary Boil Water Notice for The Woods is no longer in effect. Bacteriological samples have been found to be satisfactory and it is no longer necessary to boil water for consumption.

Due to a water break within the system on Sunday, a Precautionary Boil Water Notice has been issued for all residents within the Lee Cypress water system. Upon receipt of satisfactory bacteriological samples a rescission will be issued.

Due to an electrical issue at the water treatment plant this morning, a loss of water pressure was experienced throughout The Woods and the system is now on a Precautionary Boil Water Notice. Crews have addressed the issue and water service has been restored. Due to the loss of pressure discoloration of the water may be noted while the lines are flushed. Once bacteriological samples are determined satisfactory by the laboratory a rescission notice will be posted.

The Precautionary Boil Water Notice issued on December 7th has been rescinded. All bacteriological samples have been satisfactory and it is no longer necessary to boil the water. We thank you for your patience as we follow FDEP requirements for water breaks.

A Community wide Precautionary Boil Water notice has been issued for Gator Waterworks in Gainesville, Florida. Crews responded to a water main break and due to the location and severity of the break water service had to be turned off at the plant to allow for repairs to be made. The repairs were completed at 03:00 this morning. Once satisfactory bacteriological samples have been verified by the laboratory a rescission will be issued.

Bacteriological sample results have been determined satisfactory and the Precautionary Boil Water Notice issued on 11/23/23 has been rescinded, it is no longer necessary to boil water.

Due to a valve at the water treatment plant breaking, a loss of water pressure has been experienced and the system is on a precautionary boil water. We apologize for this inconvenience and have crews on site working to replace the valve and restore the water.
